LIVE A LIFE OF UNDIVIDED INTEGRITY
ALWAYS DEMONSTRATE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
CONSIDER OTHER PEOPLE’S INTERESTS AS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR OWN
DON’T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN EXCELLENCE
After reading The Art of Influence, a very short 110 ish page book it confirmed what I’ve believed to be true about having a positive attitude.
Positivity can bring you a long way in the way you respond to everything that happens to you. A decision, a notion - whatever.
Your body language can reflect your positivity, so can the way you speak. In your first year of commerce you’re most likely going to learn about body language and how important it is in a presentation, but it also plays a big part in psychology as well but moreso sociology. The point is, people will interpret you, the way you present yourself.
Being negative gets you nowhere, you’re pessimistic about everything and that too only sets you up towards failure. No one wants to be around the negative Ned.
Don’t you get sick of people who always complain? That’s negative Ned. The person that always bitches about someone else? That’s negative Ned.
Before you complain about your first world problems, be thankful you even have a bed, a house, a family, friends/best friends , a car, clean clothes, dinner on the table, a pet you don’t even buy food for, a laptop, a job, an education.
If you’re a positive person, people will without a doubt, notice.
So tomorrow go out and wear a smile, it’s free.
